APPLE PIE MIXTURE

8 CUPS THINLY SLICED APPLES (ABOUT 8 MED. APPLES)
1/3 TO 2/3 CUP SUGAR
1/4 CUP FLOUR
1/2 TSP NUTMEG
1/2 TSP CINNAMON
DASH OF SALT
2 TBSP MARGARINE OR BUTTER

425 F
MIX ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER EXCEPT BUTTER.

POUR INTO UNBAKED PIE SHELL.  TOP WITH LITTLE
CHUNKS OF BUTTER.  COVER WITH PIE CRUST DOUGH.

BAKE FOR 40-50 MINUTES.
